Mrs. Tolbert
Nominated by Jameson & Family
"Sonora Elementary is full of one-of-a-kind teachers. Mrs. Tolbert is another one in a million and blessing to our family. Not only has she grown our kiddo academically beyond what we could imagine, she has taken the time to wholeheartedly meet our guy where his inquisitive heart and mind are at this year. Mrs. Tolbert does not miss a chance to make all things a teaching and learning opportunity. Mrs. Tolbert, thank you for being a world changer, one student’s world at a time! "
Good morning! Just a reminder that after 7:45, the blue hallway doors will close. Please drive your child to check in and drop off at the front entrance. If the blue hallway doors are closed, they will not open to let students in. Thank you!

Coach Cole
"Coach Cole has been instrumental in teaching, guiding, and encouraging my students to learn and utilize Executive Functioning Skills among the many other things he teaches them. The students feel comfortable to make mistakes when they are with Coach Cole because they always know he will care for them and help them no matter what and that ultimately we learn and grow from mistakes. They know he wants to them to succeed and that he is doing all he can to make sure that they do succeed. Throughout the years I have seen him be a mentor to students and that doesn't end with their time at Sonora Elementary. I was recently at a high school swim meet and I heard a familiar voice cheering his heart out for some previous Sonora Scholars. I wasn't surprised at all to turn around and see that it was Coach Cole. He is living our mission and vision. "

Our leadership team (guiding coalitiion) meets every 2 weeks. We always begin our meetings with celebrations. We wanted to give you a peek into the many celebrations of achievement and growth of our Scholars:
